TIPS for PSM1

Here are some tips before you appear for your PSM1 exam.

  • If you are already working as a Scrum Master, you’re more likely to score better.
  • Are you new to Scrum? then it’s recommended to get PSM 1 course from scrum.org. It covers confusing and difficult questions very well and also gives great explanations on why answers are correct. Note that only training isn’t enough to get PSM 1 certified you need to practice a lot.
  • Read the Scrum Guide and refer back to it whenever you have a question or doubt. It is only 14 pages long and helps with clearing up your Scrum concepts. You should read the Scrum Guide whenever you have a question or doubt about how to do something in your team’s daily scrum meetings or sprint planning. Remember you will get 10-15% questions from Scrum Guide.
  • Give the Scrum Open Assessment, until you get all the answers correct. Read the feedback from the wrong answers. You may get a similar question in your exam.
